We are extremely excited to announce that we have chosen three new formidable beneficiaries. As a company it feels rewarding for us to give back, and being a women's activewear brand, we are passionate about putting money back into women's sports!
Did you know that only 7% of all media coverage within the UK is allocated to women's sports and that only 0.4% of the commercial money invested into sports goes into the women’s sector?
Shocking isn't it?
By having beneficiaries it is our goal to help them meet theirs.
Our first beneficiary is Sarah Jackson. She is an individual British windsurfer who competes for Great Britain on the Pro World Tour. Currently ranked top 2 in the UK in slalom, it is her goal to become World Champion by 2022. Her biggest challenge is funding. The donation we will be making will allow Sarah to continue to attend more World Cup events and pursue her passion all the way to the top of the sport.
The inspirational Emma Templeton is our second beneficiary. Emma is a para powerlifter with the Help for Heroes powerlifting team and the Invictus Games Foundation. Her aim is to bring together and empower women who are involved with the Help for Heroes charity. The donation Boudavida will make will help to fund the purchase of a para powerlifting bench for the Help for Heroes Phoenix House Recovery Centre, as well as assist with competition entry fees.
Our third beneficiary is the Riverside ladies football club team. It was formed in 2012 by a group of passionate women who wanted to show that football was for women too. Currently in their 6th season, their main goals are to continue to develop and support new players into the team and ultimately, work towards winning the Cambridgeshire Women's & Girls Premier League. The donation Boudavida makes will go towards funding both teams and the players.
We hope that by showing our support to these amazing sportswomen, we will inspire and encourage others to participate in sports and stay active!

Struggling to sleep? You're not alone. One in three of us suffer from poor sleeping habits and, when it comes to our wellbeing, a good night's sleep can be something that we take for granted. However, getting a good night's sleep is just as important as eating well and exercising regularly. Follow these seven steps to ensure you get the perfect night's shut-eye.
